Siren Call
Siren Call
Call me the reckless, wandering fool
Paint me a picture of this world
Ingest the pain, cold and cruel
All the colors begin to swirl
And I, your unknowing tool
Call me the forgotten and the damned
Save me a place among the fire and ash
I will sit and wait on golden beach’s sand
My body beaten, bruised and bashed
Your light my reprieve from this land
Call me forlorn or call me broken
Shred me to pieces for laughs and jokes
Tear me apart with words unspoken
If only you knew what your presence evokes
I’ll gladly give my heart as a token
You can call me whatever you will
Just so long as you call me still.
