Thought Difference, Indifferent

Thought Difference Indifference

I’m not at all psychotic
Not in the least
Perhaps a touch neurotic
But that’s a different beast

I say what comes to mind
And think how I do
Your words are quite unkind
This isn’t up to you

Perhaps I’m odd, strange or queer
Not that you’ve come to expect
But i’m certainly more than I appear
Give me a chance before you deject

Don’t call me crazy, I said no!
I may not see eye to eye
A lasting remnant from long ago
But not the madness you imply

I am divergent
I am my own
This is urgent
My mind has grown

Call me crazy if you truly must
I am different, and that’s a plus
