Lyrical Life Lessons

Lyrical Life Lessons

I may not have lived all that long
I’m not the wisest, or all that strong
But I’ve certainly learned a thing or two
Little things to that helped me through

I’ve learned to walk before I run
Else I’ll fail before I’ve begun
I’ve learned to be weary of an easy smile
It proves dangerous when used to beguile
I’ve learned to hold my head high
Especially when I need to cry

I’m a collection of my mistakes and flaws
These little things that make me pause
I may not know everything I’d like to
But it has certainly shaped my view
