Final Grace

Final Grace

Close your eyes, sweetest girl
Find your heart in this worn-out world
Hold my hand and squeeze it tight
We can flee this dreadful night

Close your eyes, my dearest girl
Forget your pain in the nights darkened swirl
Cover my arms and hide my scars
Dry your eyes to shooting stars

Close your eyes, my only girl
Rest your head as your body curls
Watch my final breaths escape
All my thoughts begin to fade from shape

Rest your eyes, you lonely girl
Save yourself from this cruel world
Leave me here to rest in peace
But do not dare to follow me underneath
