Murder of the Mind: I

Murder of the Mind: I

Follow with faith the words of man
Live in the bounds set before you
Stay with the masses on common land
Ask no questions, know no answers
This will be your minds great cancer

An active mind that festers the creativity only a child knows
A vivid imagination that lets all manner of things grow
These are the things I value more than timid life itself
Un-quantifiable, deniable as they gather dust on the shelf

These are the bastard children of our mind
The things we lose and never know
Their death is silent and its audience blind

They disappear in an instant
Stained red in the heart of all mankind

Gone forever… is forever long?
